James P. Walden, AICP
James serves as President of the firm, where he directs the firm's operations while also serving as a project planner on comprehensive planning projects. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Anthropology from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Most recently, he was awarded for his work on the Bryant Comprehensive Growth Plan by the Arkansas chapter of the American Planning Association. Mr. Walden has also assisted the firm in completing many special studies. James currently serves as the vice president for the Arkansas Chapter of the American Planning Association.
Jim von Tungeln, AICP
Founding Principal of the firm, he has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. A veteran of municipal planning, he has over 35 years of experience in planning in the State of Arkansas. He also served on both the Little Rock City Beautiful Commission and the Little Rock Planning Commission, and currently serves as the Vice President for the Arkansas Chapter of the American Planning Association. He has taught graduate coursework in public administration and is a frequent speaker on planning topics. Jim writes a monthly column on planning issues for City and Town Magazine.
